Ledger announced that UniswapX is now available through Ledger Wallet, expanding swap functionality while keeping users inside Ledger's self-custody environment. The integration adds gasless execution, MEV protection, and competitive routing through the Uniswap app.
UniswapX is now accessible via Ledger Wallet for eligible swaps. Ledger says users can benefit from filler competition, aggregated liquidity, MEV protection, and physical confirmation through a Ledger signer.
Every DeFi interaction increases exposure if users rely on browser wallets, hot keys, or custodial platforms for daily transactions. A compromised signing environment can turn a routine swap into irreversible asset loss.
Hardware-backed signing keeps private keys isolated while still allowing users to interact with DeFi services. Cold storage reduces the chance that malware, phishing pages, or compromised devices can silently approve asset-draining transactions.
