Cloudflare Ships Agentic Zero Trust Stack

2026-06-21 · cloudflare

Cloudflare announced the Cloudflare One stack on June 17, 2026, packaging Zero Trust deployment knowledge into agent-readable skills. The release is aimed at helping teams inventory applications, migrate access policies, and configure security infrastructure with more structure than ad hoc automation.

What Happened

The Cloudflare One stack ships as skill files covering Cloudflare One deployment, migration, troubleshooting, and operations. Cloudflare says the skills can help agents map legacy VPN and SASE configurations into Cloudflare Access, Tunnel, Mesh, Gateway, and related Zero Trust primitives.

The Cost of Data Loss

Misconfigured access controls are one of the ways attackers reach sensitive systems, backup consoles, and administrative workflows. Agent-assisted deployment may reduce manual errors, but any automated security change still needs review because a bad policy can expose data just as quickly as a missing one.

How Cold Storage Prevents This

Zero Trust reduces the chance of unauthorized access, while cold storage limits the damage if access controls fail anyway. Keeping immutable, offline recovery copies ensures that an identity, routing, or policy mistake cannot erase the final copy of critical records.
