Google Cloud introduced BigQuery Graph in preview. The feature is aimed at teams that need to model and analyze connected data inside BigQuery.
BigQuery Graph helps users model, analyze, and visualize relationship-heavy datasets at scale. Google says it makes multi-hop graph work easier than forcing everything through nested SQL joins.
Keeping graph analysis inside the warehouse can simplify architectures and reduce the need for separate graph systems. That may lower overhead for analytics-heavy teams.
Data teams should test whether relationship-heavy workloads fit the preview. If your data already lives in BigQuery, this is a low-friction capability to evaluate.
