When automated traffic is not visible, it is harder to spot scraping, abuse, or reconnaissance before damage spreads. Poor traffic visibility can raise incident response cost and increase the risk of data exposure.
Security telemetry and backups are only useful if you can preserve them before an incident gets worse. Better logging and offline retention create a cleaner recovery path after abuse or compromise.
