When identity access gets messy, outages and misrouting can become operational incidents that delay recovery. For distributed organizations, weak portal resilience can create access bottlenecks at exactly the wrong time.
This is less about file storage and more about resilient control-plane design. Strong backup, replication, and recovery practices reduce the chance that a single portal or Region becomes a point of failure for critical access.
